The city of Pinole is located on the shores of the San Pablo Bay, just north of Richmond and approximately 20 miles north of Oakland. Interstate-80, which traverses Pinole, connects the San Francisco/Oakland metropolitan area with Sacramento and points East. Rolling hills, a mild climate and a rich architectural history attract homeowners to the area. The city currently houses about 20,000 residents. The ‘downtown’ area is small, but has its charm. Coastal views can be had from many of the homes here.
